EADS Socata announced today Canadian certification of the TBM 850 and its first delivery to Canada. “A strong Canadian economy plus an increasing demand for point-to-point transportation results in a good outlook for high-performance aircraft such as the TBM 850. The ability to fly non-stop from Calgary to La Salle or Los Angeles, at jet speeds but with the low direct operating costs of a proven single-engined turboprop are clearly attractive to Canadian pilots and operators” Explained Nicolas Chabbert, EADS Socata’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The first TBM 850 operator in Canada, just flew his aircraft from the factory in France to its new base in Western Canada.
The TBM 850 is available via EADS Socata’s existing direct sales and distribution network, and is supported by its extensive worldwide network of service centers.
