As a sensor and avionics centre at EADS, the Defence Electronics business unit unifies sensor technologies for airborne, naval and land-based platforms. Defence Electronics offers its customers components, equipment and subsystems based on the latest radar and electronics warfare technologies.
The business unit also develops and manufactures avionics systems and electronics for defence systems. EADS platforms and fighter aircraft, mission and transport aircraft, helicopters, UAVs, tanks and ships of other manufacturers are also equipped with products from Defence Electronics.
