Overhaul of Orlik Closed

Warsaw, 21  November  2003

The first Orlik TC-I operated by Polish Air Forces is undergoing an overhaul at EADS PZL ‘Warszawa Okęcie’ which is to be terminated soon.

After 1000 operation hours the aircraft was delivered to our service centre in the summer 2003; EADS PZL determined the scope of works, the aircraft was disassembled and its components thoroughly inspected – unserviceable parts were replaced. Orlik assemblies were reinstalled and the airplane was checked both on ground and in-flight. After completion of all tests it is to be delivered to Air Forces as ‘a brand new aircraft’ – the next overhaul is scheduled after 1000 operation hours.
