EADS TEST & SERVICES will supply HISPANO-SUIZA with REAL TIME INTEGRATION TESTERS for their new generation engine computers

EADS TEST & SERVICES has received an order from HISPANO-SUIZA for a Real Time System Integration tester dedicated to the test of its new engine regulation computers FADEC 3.
Delivery of the tester is planned during the second half of 2005 ; it will first be used for the real time integration tests of the FADEC 3 which will be mounted on/integrated into the GP7200 engine from Engine Alliance for the A380 aircraft and the TP400-D6 engine from EuroProp International for the A400M.
This is the first model of a new family of Real Time Integration Testers developed by EADS TEST & SERVICES in co-operation with HISPANO-SUIZA to meet all the development, production and maintenance testing needs of the FADEC line of computers as part of a renewal process of HISPANO SUIZA’s testing and development capabilities.
EADS TEST & SERVICES brings more than thirty years of testing expertise for the whole life cycle of equipment and systems: the company is the world leader in automatic test systems for the maintenance of civil avionics with the ATEC line of testers and has been developing its presence in production testing for the last three years by supplying equipment manufacturers with a large number of production-dedicated testers. Now with this new family of Real Time Integration Testers, EADS TEST & SERVICES uses the knowledge in integration testing it acquired in developing the TSN Real Time testers for the EADS missiles and the Real Time Software Integration Testers for the A380 modular avionics.
Based in Toulouse and in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Paris), the company has a turnover of € 97 million in 2003.
