DEVOORT BV will strengthen EADS Socata network in the BeneluxLe Bourget, le 12 décembre 2002 DEVOORT BV and EADS Socata announced today they have signed the formal agreement by which DEVOORT BVDEVOORT BV will market, sell and support all EADS Socata products in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg Under this agreement, DEVOORT BV, established at Lelystad Airport, near Amsterdam (Netherlands) will represent the TB GT range of single-engine piston aircraft as well as the TBM700 high-performance turboprop, and will be as well a spare parts distributor. « As an enthusiast pilot I felt in love with Socata Aircraft such as the TB 20 Trinidad I flew more than a hundred hours at Martinair Flight School. They are very spacious and nice to fly aircraft. As a businessman I was also impressed by the TBM 700 as a performant tool for corporate travel well tailored for Europe. For all those reasons I considered it was a wonderful opportunity to market those attractive aircraft in our countries. The Benelux aviation market is quite promising through its fleet with constant needs for replacement."
