Kolibers For UK – Wilga For USA

Warsaw, 19  December  2003

EADS-PZL UK Dealer PZL International who are based at North Weald Airfield, Essex, have ordered a further 4 new KOLIBER 160A aircraft to be delivered in early part of 2004, these aircraft are in addition to the 3 new KOLIBER’S supplied in 2003.

Toni Paoli CEO of PZL International says “the KOLIBER offers excellent value for money in the single engine training / touring aircraft market, the KOLIBER is robust, reliable, and inexpensive to operate and is offered with a comprehensive specification in basic format. Interest in the KOLIBER on the UK market has been high through 2003 with reasonable sales quotas being achieved” even though the KOLIBER has only a small percentage market share in the UK, the company is confident that it can increase its new aircraft sales through 2004”. The KOLIBER will be on display at AEROFAIR 2004 which will be held at North Weald in May.

In addition, EADS-PZL Dealer “South Aircraft LLC” based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, will receive their 2 new WILGA 2000 aircraft in Jan 2004; this completes their order for 2003 deliveries. Kevin McKown CEO of South Aircraft LLC has made good progress with the introduction of the WILGA 2000 to US market and in particular with Law Enforcement Agencies for use in patrol and surveillance duties. The WILGA 2000 recently acquired an STC for the application of the TAMAN POP 200 airborne surveillance system including FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) capability. The WILGA 2000 will be available for demonstration in the US by March 2004 with the POP 200 system installed.
