NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER NAMED AT EADS SOGERMA BARFIELD, INC.

Miami, Florida, 23 June 2004

EADS Sogerma Barfield, Inc., a leader in aviation support, service and instrument repair and maintenance, has announced the appointment of Frederic Denise as Chief Operating Officer. The appointment is made as part of the company’s strategic plan to reinforce its management team, enhance customer service and diversify the business base.

EADS Sogerma Barfield, Inc. is based in Miami, with facilities in Phoenix, Arizona and Louisville, Kentucky. It is a subsidiary of EADS North America, the U.S. holding company of EADS, the second largest aerospace company in the world.

“Frederic Denise’s extensive knowledge of the U.S. airlines component support business will contribute to the continued development of EADS Sogerma Barfield in the coming years,” said EADS North America Chairman and CEO Ralph Crosby. “His responsibilities will include consolidating the company’s market position and ensuring that maximum attention is given to customers’ needs. EADS North America’s strategy is to be a major player in the U.S. aerospace industry over the long term, and the holding company will provide the necessary resources to its operating entities to achieve this goal.”

Frederic Denise received his Masters in Business Administration from the Institut Superieur de Gestion in Paris. Mr. Denise is an experienced EADS Sogerma Services manager with more than 15 years at the company, beginning his career with assignments in Thailand and France. During the last eight years, Mr. Denise served as Director of Sales North America, EADS Sogerma Barfield, and most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas, representing both EADS Sogerma Barfield and EADS Aeroframe Services, based in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
