EADS SOGERMA SERVICES to supply Evolys Business Class seats on Air Europa A330.

Le Bourget, 15 June 2005

EADS SOGERMA SERVICES will supply Spanish Airline Air Europa Evolys® Business Class seats, as well as galleys, for their 4 A330. These new A330, added to the recent A340 fleet, are the first step on a long range fleet renewal.

The first aircraft is due to come into service at spring 2006.

This new project confirms the success of the Evolys® Business Class seats since its introduction. Evolys@ Business Class seats have been selected by Gulf Air, Turkish, and more.

Evolys@ meets the airlines requirements for a new-generation seat that is highly comfortable, adaptable and the lightest in its category, together with a proven easy maintainability.

Designed with inputs from ergonomics experts, one of Evolys© key features is its exclusive lounge-bed sleeper profile which provides the optimum rest position within the seat pitch allocated by air carriers for Business class.

The lounge-bed sleeper profile selected for Evolys@ is optimal in terms of the lower body's relationship to the upper torso and the heart - an important health factor during airlines increasingly long international flights. It also avoids the downward¬sliding sensation that passengers feel in the so-called lie-flat business seats - which, in reality are inclined all along their full length for the sleeper mode.

The composite backshell of Evolys@ is easily customizable throughout late stage styling, exterior finish and specific configuration of stowage areas.

A single electronic control unit is used for in-seat power, motor control and reading light power. With only two motors for seat motion, Evolys@ is a friendly maintenance product too.

Air Europa's flight network encompasses the majority of the Spanish territory, as well as several destinations in Europe and Northern Africa (Paris, Milan, Rome, Budapest, Lisbon, Porto, Tunis, Agadir, Fez, Marrakech, Warsaw, Prague...) and transatlantic destinations (Brazil, Ecuador, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela) and China.
