The EADS Military Air Systems headquarters are located at Ottobrunn near Munich. This site also comprises the development centre with associated laboratories, system and integration test rigs, simulation and computer-aided design facilities. A focal point is the technological development work in the areas of avionics, flight control systems, sensors, fire control systems and data processing. Research in the areas of signature technology, electrical ground systems, ground based systems and simulation is also carried out here.
