EADS Socata goes West to AOPA Expo

Socata Aircraft team is heading West to this years AOPA Expo held October 24-26, 2002, in Palm Springs, California. Aircraft on display include the retractable, normally aspirated TB 20 Trinidad GT, its turbocharged version the TB 21 Trinidad GT, and the high-speed turboprop TBM 700.

A special event will take place at AOPA Expo this year as Socata Aircraft and AOPA Air Safety Foundation will be presenting the keys to the highest bidder of the Spirit of Liberty aircraft that was auctioned on AOPA Air Safety Foundations website from May 1st through August 31st, 2002. The highest bidder will be announced at AOPA Expos official banquet and will fly home with this exceptional aircraft. Members of Socata Aircrafts Sales Department and Senior Management will be available to meet with current and future Socata customers and media personnel throughout the three-day event. "Palm Springs is a wonderful place to meet with current and prospective customers," said Stéphane Bernard, Socata Aircrafts CEO. "The popularity of the event guarantees the opportunity to meet with a wide section of the general aviation public."
