AS365 N3 Dauphin

The Dauphin Family consists of three medium-weight multipurpose twin-engine helicopters - AS365N3, AS365N2 and EC155B1. The AS365N2 is equipped with two Turbomeca Arriel 1C2 engines. In Helicopter Emergency Medical Service, its low vibration and internal sound level, its cabin size to house all the necessary medical equipment and its performance make the Dauphin one of the medic's favorites. Equipped with a powerful searchlight and a rescue hoist, the Dauphin provides airborne Law Enforcement, and Search and Rescue with unprecedented capabilities. The AS365N3 benefits of significant improvement due to the adoption of the latest Turbomeca Arriel 2C turbine engine. This increase of 18% in power can be used in warm weather or at high altitude to increase the helicopter's takeoff weight significantly. This engine is equipped with a Full Authority Digital Electronic Control - FADEC.
