The A330/A340 Family concept is unique: one basic airframe is available in six different configurations, powered by two or four engines. The twin-engine A330 is optimized for highest revenue generation and the lowest operating costs from regional segments to extended range routes, while the four-engine A340 provides versatility on the most demanding long-range and ultra-long-range flights. The shortest-fuselage version of Airbus A330 series, the A330-200 has an overall length of 59 metres / 193 ft. 7 in, carries 253 passengers in a three-class layout, or 293 in a two-class configuration, with a range of up to 6,750nm / 12,500 km.
