Cassidian System Design Centre: Throughout the whole system engineering lifecycle, the System Design Centre works with customers and other EADS units on defence and security solutions like: urban and peace-keeping operations; protection of borders, critical, infrastructure, large events; net-centric operations in the battlefield; intelligence; maritime and airspace surveillance; and air traffic management. Risk mitigation, technology capitalization and a system-of-systems "integrated project team" working approach are key success factors offered by the System Design Centre. Thanks to the System Design Centre's operational experts, system engineering skills, methods and tools, it is possible to set up, test and evaluate security systems in various scenarios before they are actually used.
