Eurofighter of the German Air Force

The photo shows two Eurofighters JG-74 from the German Air Force based at Neuburg, Germany. JG-74 was the first front line wing of the German Air Force. These aircraft were used to police the skies over the Baltic States as part of NATO's commitment. The Eurofighters are fitted with IRIS-T missiles and one centre line drop tank. The Eurofighters were based in Lithuania at Siauliai Air Base for two months and this was their first operational detachment.
