ASRAAM
The ASRAAM is an Advanced Short Range Air-to-Air Missile. The imaging infrared seeker guarantees ultra-high level of accuracy with unequalled countermeasure resistance. It is designed to be compatible with all aircraft capable of firing AIM-9 and AIM-120 missiles. It is in full operational service with the Royal Air Force on Tornado F3 and with the Royal Australian Air Force on F/A-18. It will equip the Eurofighter Typhoon - photo - and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
