ICC - Integrated Cargo Carrier

ICC Workers guide the Unpressurized Cargo Pallet into place inside the payload canister. The Integrated Cargo Carrier makes it possible to achieve significantly better utilization of the cargo bay of the Space Shuttle by stowing payload in hitherto unused areas. Equipment and boxes up to a total weight of four metric tons- capable of expansion to six tons - can be fastened on the truss structure of the ICC.
