The CASA C212 is the answer to the needs of different Air Forces in the field of light military transport for an aircraft which can operate in areas lacking in infrastructure and on unpaved runways. Designed with high-wing configuration and fixed landing gear, it is fitted with turbo-prop engines. Its spacious section cabin is perfectly complemented by the rear ramp which enables varied transport tasks to be carried out (cargo capacity: 3,000 kg, or 25 paratroopers, or 12 stretchers and 4 attendants, combat aircraft engines, helicopter blades, etc.). The C-212 is an excellent platform for developing and integrating a wide variety of versions such as the Maritime Patrol (Patrullero), Electronic Warfare (ESM/ECM and ELINT/COMINT), Navigation School, Aerial Survey, Pollution Control, etc.
