CN235

The CN235 is a tactical transport aircraft developed by the MTA division of EADS. This family of products is composed of three aircraft: the CN235 and its maritime patrol version called the CN235 Persuader and HC235. It designates the last generation Maritime Patrol aircraft, developed by the Military Transport Aircraft Division, based on both the CN235 and the C295 platforms. Persuader offers a cost-effective, sophisticated and versatile solution to the needs of the Maritime Patrol market; it performs any tactical operation, from Maritime Surveillance, Economic Exclusive Zone (EEZ) control, Search and Rescue (SAR), to more complex missions as Antisubmarine Warfare (ASW), Antisurface Warfare (ASuW), Electronic Warfare (EW) or Airborne Early Warning (AEW). The Persuader brings together the CN235/C295 platforms and the most advanced mission system, developed by EADS CASA.
