Highlights at Farnborough Airshow 2012
In the most recent edition of the Farnborough International Airshow that took place from 9-15 July, EADS presented a wide array of innovative products under the motto ‘The Future, by EADS’.
For the first time, EADS had an integrated presence at a central position on the show site and next to the Airbus/Eurocopter aircraft display. A unique pavilion was built bundling all indoor functions under one main roof. Visitors that attended this event witnessed the Group’s extensive capabilities in the fields of aerospace and defence, both in the air and on the ground, as well as emerging technologies and research initiatives.
Besides showcasing its products, EADS also put a special focus on people during the airshow. With the aim of attracting fresh talent, EADS Human Resources played a prominent role, offering a multitude of workshops to encourage young people to join the Group.
