Given the sphere of operations and size of EADS, Corporate Social Responsibility (CR&S) is at the heart of company activities and is closely linked to the Group’s growth strategy. 

EADS wants to meet its employees’ expectations, and thus established the Engagement Survey in 2009 to foster a ‘speak up!’ culture within the Group. The company is also taking steps to manage employees’ competencies, mapping the skills of almost all employees and grouping them into 10 to 20 core competences.

Furthermore, initiatives such as the EADS Hall of Fame for especially innovative people, are another example of professional recognition. EADS is committed to equal opportunity careers for all employees, aiming to transform diversity into a competitive advantage, including gender diversity at every level.

Looking to EADS' internal processes, EADS has established a code of conduct for its more than 1,000 suppliers as a step to ensure that the CR&S values of EADS are cascaded down into its supply chain.
