European roots, global footprint

EADS operates across the globe, in every continent, with more than 170 locations worldwide and a network of 33 international representative offices. 

With strong roots in the domestic markets of France, Germany, UK and Spain, and as a true European citizen, EADS contributes significantly to the trade balance of its home countries. Since its foundation, for example, the Group has almost tripled its European sourcing volume.

While maintaining its European base, EADS is increasing its international footprint: Around 75% of its products are exported and around half of its revenues are generated outside of Europe. As part of this global strategy, the Group is also targeting 40% of its sourcing and 20% of employees outside of Europe by 2020.

EADS is also fostering its presence in the US and emerging countries, including everything from research centres in Singapore and India to production lines in China and Brazil, to name but a few.
