The business of Cassidian is the architecture and industrial prime contractor ship of "systems-of-systems". The company integrates complex equipment of high technological added value based on complementary competencies. Its industrial strategy is based on the convergence of the defence and security markets, and addresses the requirements arising from the interaction between the two domains. The activities that have been gathered together at the Elancourt site are primarily professional radio communications activities, activities related to Global Security, UAV systems, defence electronics, test equipment and the System Design Centre, a truly integrated centre for solution design, modelling and system simulation for network-centric defence activities.
