Final Assembly Line in Hamburg - A318/A319/A321
The Hamburg / Finkenwerder site hosts the final assembly lines of Airbus A318, A319 and A321. On the final assembly line, the assemblies are assembled: joining of the wing / centre section, general join-up (forward and aft fuselage, horizontal and vertical tailplane, landing gear, etc.) and the aircraft systems are tested. When the airframe structure is completed, ground and outside tests are performed on the systems. The engines are installed and the cabin interior is furnished. The engines are tested and the aircraft starts the flight test phase. Just before delivery, the aircraft is painted and the airline livery is applied.

Spares centre in Hamburg
The Material, Logistics and Suppliers centre in Hamburg Fuhlsbuettel manages all spares-related activities including initial provisioning, order administration, sales support, on-site incident assistance and marketing. It also manages a spares stock of approximately 115,000 different parts with almost 2.5 million items on a storage space of about 36,000 square metres serving customers worldwide.
