Premium AEROTEC GmbH generated revenues of about 1.5 billion euros in 2012. Its core business is the development and manufacturing of metal and carbon composite aerostructures and the associated equipment and production systems. The company has production plants in Augsburg, Bremen, Nordenham and Varel in Germany, and in Ghimbav, Braşov County, Romania.
The Nordenham plant is the world’s most modern facility for the manufacture of fuselage shells. Sited directly on the Weser River, this facility is an integral part of its region and leverages the experience gained in over 75 years of aircraft construction every single day.
