The Schrobenhausen site is one of the most modern defence technology sites in Europe today and "the" centre of competence for air defence and missile systems. Since March 2012, the capabilities of MBDA Deutschland have been concentrated at the Schrobenhausen headquarters. The designing, testing, development, production and product support of missile systems and components takes place at this location. Some 60 million Euros have been invested in expanding and modernising the plant since 2007. A total of 1080 employees work for MBDA Deutschland in Schrobenhausen.
