Centre of Excellence "Wing/Pylon" in Broughton:
Broughton in North Wales is part of the Wing and Pylon Centre of Excellence. The Broughton site is responsible for the wing final assembly and wing equipping for the whole Airbus commercial family of aircraft. The A320 Family and the A330/A340 wings are manufactured in the Broughton East Factory and the A380 wings are manufactured in the ‘West Factory’. A350 XWB wings will be manufactured in the newly constructed ‘North Factory’.
