Equatorial Sistemas S.A. is the only Brazilian company with true experience in airfreight in three different satellites. With optical imaging devices that were used on CBERS-1 and CBERS-2, the company is developing the next generation of imaging devices for CBERS-3/4. It has also participated in the development of NASA's AQUA satellite, providing an instrument for detecting moisture. At present, it is being financed by FINEP (Brazilian Innovation Agency – Research and Project Financing) to create an advanced imaging device that will be used nationwide, in Amazonia and in our rainforest.
