EADS Innovation Works – the EADS network of research facilities, scientists, engineers and partnerships – is at the forefront of research and technology. EADS Innovation Works fosters technological excellence and business orientation through the sharing of competences and means between the four Divisions of the EADS Group (Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian and Eurocopter) and develops and maintains partnerships with world-famous schools, universities and research centres.
The Technical Capabilities Centres' network
EADS Innovation Works operates a global network of corporate Research and Technology (R&T) laboratories that guarantee the technical innovation potential of the EADS Group with a focus on the long term. The structure of the network is consistent with the EADS R&T strategy and covers the skills and technology fields that are of critical importance to EADS. The teams at EADS Innovation Works are organised in seven transnational Technical Capabilities Centres:

EADS Innovation Works' worldwide presence
EADS Innovation Works has two main sites in Suresnes (Paris) and Ottobrunn (Munich) and employs approximately 600 people including doctorates and undergraduate interns. Proximity centres are maintained in Toulouse, Nantes, Hamburg, Bremen and Stade to support knowledge transfer to Business Units in these locations. In addition, EADS Innovation Works operates centres in Singapore, and Newport and Filton in the UK, and has also launched a centre in Getafe (Madrid), and most recently in Bangalore, India, and California, US. A liaison office operates in Moscow, which facilitates relations with Russia’s scientific institutes.
