Internship Days give students the opportunity to spend a day getting to know EADS. Specifically held for individuals who are looking for an internship, a student work placement or a position to prepare their final year thesis, these days involve interviews with managers and HR representatives as well as a corporate presentation, guided tour of a facility and round table discussions with managers. All four EADS Divisions – Airbus, Astrium, Cassidian and Eurocopter – are represented so that participants are able to find out all the information they need about their career at EADS.

Internship Days are held throughout the year at different sites. Representatives from a range of educational backgrounds and functions are present to answer questions and every participant is guaranteed one or more interviews for a concrete position.

Started in 2010, the Internship Day concept has gained recognition among many leading universities. They are proving to be a huge success, for students and for the company. For example, in Hamburg last year from 1,400 applications, 200 candidates were invited to the event where they met with 80 managers and HR representatives. One week later, more than 100 had been given a contract or an invitation to a second interview.
