FIRE SHADOW

Fire Shadow is being developed together with the UK Ministry of Defence. Fire Shadow will meet the UK requirement for an affordable weapon, potentially with an operating range of more than 100km, with accurate targeting and minimal collateral damage. Loitering programme Fire Shadow can be targeted by a range of ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance) systems, for example a forward observer with binoculars or a sophisticated system such as a UAV. If required, the Fire Shadow can loiter in the target area for up to 10 hours and will be particularly effective in complex and urban environments. After launch, Fire Shadow may receive real-time target information from a range of sources in a potentially networked environment.
