EADS COMPOSITES LICENSING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE JEC EXHIBITION IN PARIS

25 March 2011

The EADS Technology Licensing initiative will have an active participation at the JEC Composites 2011 show in Paris, which is Europe’s largest composites exhibition.

Among the EADS technologies for licensing to be highlighted at JEC Composites are associated manufacturing methods and techniques for the company’s patented Vacuum Assisted Process (VAP®), including a preform manufacturing machine that is highly automated and self-adaptable.

EADS’ composite production capabilities include high-performance binding for preform structures.

Other offered technologies include production methods for single- and multi-layer preforms using tailored fibre placement.

Also at JEC Composites 2011, the EADS Technology Licensing initiative will unveil its new “forum” concept, which brings together EADS licensees with experts from across the company for an open exchange of experience, expertise and lessons learned in composites production. The first such forum meeting will be held during the second half of 2011 at Airbus’ headquarters in Toulouse, France.

The EADS Technology Licensing initiative will be exhibiting at JEC Composites on booth #T46 in Hall 1, at the Paris-Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.
