The EADS Technology Licensing initiative’s website was unveiled to an international audience in Munich, Germany today, where its debut showing was organised for attendees of Airbus’ 2009 Supplier Conference.
This timely rollout of www.technologylicensing.eads.net enabled Airbus’ global supply chain to learn more about technology licensing opportunities at EADS, and to meet with initiative team members who were on site for the day-long event.
The website was displayed on a dedicated exhibit booth that attracted a steady flow of visitors during the conference – which was attended by more than 300 representatives from 240 different suppliers, along with approximately 100 Airbus and EADS managers and procurement personnel.
“Suppliers to Airbus and EADS represent an important business base for our technology licensing outreach, so this annual event was the perfect forum for us to reach a broad spectrum of companies,” explained Wulf Hoeflich, Chief Intellectual Property Officer for EADS, and the project leader for EADS’ Technology Licensing initiative.
