Pakistan International Airlines acquires an ATEC Series 6 for maintaining Boeing 777 fleet

Pakistan International Airlines has acquired a first ATEC Series 6 test system from EADS TEST & SERVICES plus 28 associated test programmes for maintaining its Boeing fleet in Karachi, Pakistan. Delivery is planned for the end of 2006. Pakistan International Airlines has already been using ATEC testers for maintenance of its fleet. The ATEC Series 6 is the world’s most commonly used automatic test system for testing commercial avionics; to date, this model has been sold to 66 airlines around the world with a total of 273 ATEC Series 6 test systems in operation with commercial and military applications. It is also used for testing the avionics of military aircraft and helicopters.
