Marwan Lahoud, born on 6 March 1966, is Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer of EADS. Prior to assuming this position Lahoud served as Executive Officer (CEO) of MBDA.

Lahoud began his career in 1989 when he joined the French arms-procurement agency DGA as Head of the Computation Center at the Landes Test Center and then becoming Head of Test Systems Upgrade Projects and Investment Coordination. In 1994, Lahoud was appointed Special Advisor to the Tactical Missile Systems Engineering department, then Assistant Manager of Missiles and Space.

He was promoted Special Advisor to the Defence Minister in 1995 and was named later in the same year Advisor for Industrial Affairs, Research and Arms within the same ministerial department.

Lahoud joined Aérospatiale in 1998 as Corporate Vice President of Development, responsible for defining agreements with the Lagardère group relating to the Aérospatiale-Matra Hautes Technologies merger. He was also Secretary General of Aerospatiale-Matra Hautes Technologies committee. In 1999, he was appointed Senior Vice President Strategic Coordination and eventually Senior Vice President Defence, Military Aircraft and Space Transport. Within EADS, he served as Senior Vice President Mergers and Acquisitions.

Marwan Lahoud holds the decoration Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. He graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1984 and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace in 1989.
